12/19/13

Before you do any group work, I want you to share a one paragraph comment on this post about any academic observation of Ender's Game from the second half of the novel. What was shocking, surprising, intriguing, etc?

Next, you can work on your final Ender's Game projects if you need the class time. If you are not working on the project, I want you to be replying to the other comments on this post.

When we return from break (1/6) we are going to spend time discussing the novel together and presenting our final projects. You have all of break to make sure you have all of your work done.

Game Plan for the Blog

Hi class,

We are going to meet here in the computer lab (today) 12/10, 12/12, 12/19, 1/7. Today you are going to create your blog and make it unique to you.

My blog will be the main hub for this blogging so you can read and comment on what your classmates are saying and it is all centralized in one location.

You are also going to work on your blog independently.

I will post questions and comments and you will be free to respond to each of those. You can also respond to what your classmates are saying as well.

Your blog name must be your own so I can track and follow your participation.

Imagine this to be sort of like the Socratic Seminar except you do not have to talk out loud to your classmates.
